There are a few people in my life that have made me who I am today. My high school civics teacher. God rest his soul. I remember how he would give me life advice and tell people how crazy one of my friends parents were. He taught me a lot that I still use today. True story. If you fell asleep in his class he would just leave you there until you woke up. Then, he would tell the other classes coming in to be quiet. If you weren’t paying attention he would shoot them with a cold water gun. My high school chemistry teacher. I even based a character off my first cd on him. His dry sense of humor made talking to him amazing. He would talk to you not like a student but like a friend. However, there is one person who kept telling me to go after my dreams. She would push me into doing what I loved. When things were down she kept me going. She installed life lessons in me that I know I will always hold onto. I lost my dad when I was 12. My mother was right there to pickup the slack. She told me how I should treat a woman and how I should be as person. My mom at this moment is about ready to pass on to be with her husband again. Today, I wanted to send out a very special Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there. Without you special women in our lives, we wouldn’t be who we are today. I want you to call your mom or giver her a hug and tell her thank you. Trust me she will appreciate it. This retro video is dedicated to my mom. I know she will never get to see this but Happy Mother’s Day. I love you.
