Our mission to help save the breast, one boob at a time, continues on. If you are wanting to help us with the fight against breast cancer, click one of the store logos on the side. All the proceeds from our breast cancer line will be going to charity to help the fight continue. Now on to the main show.

How many of you out there are fans of SNL? In the early 2000s, there was a woman who joined the cast that became someone we all recognized. Maya Rudolph had made all of us laugh and some of us even cry. She is a very talented comedienne and actress. Looking at her you wouldn’t think that she has come from adversity? Maya is the daughter of Minnie Riperton, an American singer. Minnie was best known for her song Lovin’ You. The reason I am bringing this up, at age 7 Maya lost her mother after a battle with breast cancer. I know we make a lot of fun around here and we joke quite a bit. This is not one of those times. Maya lost her mother, and there are plenty of us that have lost a loved one from breast cancer. We would like to pay tribute to the ones that have battled and lost. However, the fight is never over. Our hearts and minds are filled with memories that will last us a lifetime. Minnie Riperton during her fight with breast cancer became a spokeswoman for the American Cancer Society. She became an advocate to get the awareness out there for the very disease that was killing her. I think her story and many others like it can change one person’s mind to think stronger. Today we pay tribute to the ones who have lost their lives to this disease or continuing the ongoing fight. Our Hearts can only say one thing, No matter where you are and how bad you feel, We are Lovin‘ You.

About the author

Richard Pruitt

I am Richard and I have a problem. A problem with entertaining people. I have been in the comedy world for over 10 years. I started out as an improv actor making fun and light of everything. Doing that felt rewarding, but I have to admit, I wanted more. I couldn’t get the taste of performing out of my mouth. Does that not sound a little creepy? I decided to start doing my own stand up show. I love to make fun of my family and anything that will make a normal person say what the fuck. The journey still continues, in 2009, I had a dream to create my own online magazine. This is the beautiful corner of craziness in front of you. I have been through hell in my life but being stopped is something that I will not let happen. I am a fighter and hope to make people realize it is ok to smile and think from time to time. It also helps being a nerd.
