The hours are getting closer to the 50th Anniversary of everyone’s favorite time traveling Doctor. As we get closer to the big day we are going to be celebrating this amazing feat by giving you some Who tidbits. I am going to admit something that is something I may not want to claim. I am a 29 year old male and I enjoy me some bubble gum pop. I am not sure I will ever own up to that but nothing will put a smile on my face quicker than hearing a very bubbly beat followed by a cute white girl sing rapping. Not to be confused with the crap that Limp Bizkit did. Last night I was on the search for a retro video when I came upon a gem from across the pond. I mean the ocean and not Amy. How many of you know that Billie Piper was a pop princess? Yes, the beloved Rose Tyler, sung her heart out to be the Britney Spears of the UK. I wish I was kidding but alas I am not. She tried to have a “music” career. I think a good thing they rebooted Doctor Who because she is a much better actress. These videos are from the early 2000s but they feel like they are from 1994. First of all this song is about cranking the song up loud. I think if you were cruising down the road playing this, a group of nun would get out of the Volkswagen bus and beat your ass. Secondly, we have had some pretty bad videos in the Retro, but this one may take the crumpet. Here is what I need you to do, grab your favorite purple blazer and matching dance pants. We will all dance together. Why? Billie Piper says Because We Want To.

Richard Pruitt

I am Richard and I have a problem. A problem with entertaining people. I have been in the comedy world for over 10 years. I started out as an improv actor making fun and light of everything. Doing that felt rewarding, but I have to admit, I wanted more. I couldn’t get the taste of performing out of my mouth. Does that not sound a little creepy? I decided to start doing my own stand up show. I love to make fun of my family and anything that will make a normal person say what the fuck. The journey still continues, in 2009, I had a dream to create my own online magazine. This is the beautiful corner of craziness in front of you. I have been through hell in my life but being stopped is something that I will not let happen. I am a fighter and hope to make people realize it is ok to smile and think from time to time. It also helps being a nerd.
