image1-1024x1024I am not sure about any of you, but Christmas music is something that will make the spirit start to cheer. The holiday season can change in a moments notice when a person hears their favorite Christmas song. For the last few years, I have found myself listening to nothing that truly embodied what Christmas truly is. I do occasionally listen to the Buble song that will make me break out the Santa hat. However, I just have had trouble finding the perfect Christmas album. This was very true until earlier this year, I discovered a Youtube channel by a man named Scott Bradlee. I love the music of the 20s-50s. There is just something about that sound, that will make a person want to dance without question. The Postmodern Jukebox playlist has videos of today’s music covered by some of the most talented people in the world, in the styles of the retro sounds. Well, they covered Christmas music, and my ears are in love. I am going to tell you, that if this does not put you in the Christmas Spirit, Nothing will. Ladies and Gentlemen, May I present to you, A Very Postmodern Christmas through music videos. You can download the album on iTunes.

About the author

Richard Pruitt

I am Richard and I have a problem. A problem with entertaining people. I have been in the comedy world for over 10 years. I started out as an improv actor making fun and light of everything. Doing that felt rewarding, but I have to admit, I wanted more. I couldn’t get the taste of performing out of my mouth. Does that not sound a little creepy? I decided to start doing my own stand up show. I love to make fun of my family and anything that will make a normal person say what the fuck. The journey still continues, in 2009, I had a dream to create my own online magazine. This is the beautiful corner of craziness in front of you. I have been through hell in my life but being stopped is something that I will not let happen. I am a fighter and hope to make people realize it is ok to smile and think from time to time. It also helps being a nerd.
