evan7Evan Peters is a local boy! He was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. Approximately, four hours from where I am sitting. Three and a half hours if I drive quickly. That is until his family moved to Los Angeles, California in 2001 so that he could pursue acting. He had several minor television roles from 2004 to 2011. Some of these included One Tree Hill, Phil of the Future, and The Office (What?! How did I miss this? I have watched complete series of The Office so many times, it is not funny!). He was also in the movie, Kick-Ass, as the main character’s best friend.

evans5Evan Peters’ big breakthrough role came in 2011. He played the lovable psychopath, Tate Langdon, in the FX smash hit, American Horror Story. He was quick to become a fan favorite. Most viewers of the series overlooked the fact that he was a mass murderer, rapist, and the father to the anti-Christ. Instead, they focused on his more endearing personality traits. He returned to AHS on the second, third, fourth, and fifth season. Each time, playing a completely new and well-defined character. The show truly showcased his range of acting skills. At this time, it is unclear if he will return for the sixth season.

2014 was a big year for Evan Peters’, as well. He starred in the independent film, Adult World, with John Cusack and Emma Roberts. If you have not seen it, it is a sweet comedy about a girl (Emma Roberts) who wants to be a poet. However, she is broke and ends up working in an adult store to make ends meet. At this moment, it is on Netflix. Go watch it.

evan6In addition, Peters took on his most notable film role to date – the mutant, Quicksilver. A Marvel character that has the ability to move at superhuman speeds.  X-Men: Days of Future Past was released in 2014. This was followed by the sequel X-Men: Apocalypse released earlier this year.

In between the filming of the X-men movies, Evan Peters also starred in the film in the Lazarus Effect with the gorgeous Olivia Wilde.

evan4Peter Evans, I am excited to induct you into the Hall of Hunks. I gave up Patrick Stump to have this honor and that is a big deal. I adore that you have a sweet, boyish smile one moment (he’s only 2 years younger than me – no need to make it weird) and then the ability to look like a dangerous psychopath the next. Keep doing what you do and all will be right in my world.
