So Jennifer is in a terrible accident one dark and rainy night. Her husband rushes to the hospital. He learns that she has amnesia. He promises to care for her and stay by her side as long as it takes for her to remember because he is madly in love with her. He takes her to their estate in the middle of nowhere. Jennifer quickly begins to notice that something isn’t right. She has strange, violent flashbacks. She begins snooping around as much as she can while limping about. It doesn’t take long for her loving husband to become aggressive- grabbing her arm, verbally abusing her, demanding sex, locking her in the bedroom, chaining her to the bed, etc. Meanwhile, the officer investigating the case has his own suspicions and begins following leads. He discovers that Jennifer’s husband is actually a former co-worker that is obsessed with her. He killed her parents and husband. With them out of the way, he orchestrated the accident and then assumed the role of her husband. Now Jennifer must survive long enough for the officer to rescue her.

Is it worth watching: Maybe if you like bad Lifetime movies but I wouldn’t encourage it. The trailer told the whole plot. There were no surprises at all. Jennifer was not exactly a damsel-in-distress type but she also wasn’t a badass so I can’t claim that as a redeeming quality. I do want to know why a gunshot wound to the chest didn’t stop the guy but a second one to his abdomen killed him immediately…..because not only have I taken personal defense classes, I am a medical professional, and something seems a little off there. Anyway, there’s much better ways to spend an hour and thirty-seven minutes so unless this type of thing is really your jam, pass one this movie.
