One thing that has really suffered during the war with COVID-19 is the movie industry. Usually about this time every year, we are enthralled with major summer blockbusters that blow our fandom loving minds. And this year was going to be no exception. However, when COVID started ruining the party, fans and studios started to ponder how they will be able to share their new films with the masses. TROLLS World Tour went straight from the big screen to the small screen via on demand. But one film that fans have been clamoring for all summer will make its debut on Disney+.
Disney announced today that the live action version of Mulan would be added to the DISNEY+ streaming service. But hold your pants because there is a catch. Disney will be charging a fee of 29.99 for subscribers to be able to watch the film. What is unclear is if this is a one time charge that adds a blockbuster tier or if this a monthly price, or if this is a one time deal. The wording from the house the of mouse was vague. But we will be able to finally see this film on September 4th just in time for Labor Day Weekend.
