Movie: Dangerous Lies
Where to watch it: Netflix
Spoilers: No- well one but this a bad movie so it doesn’t hurt my feelings to tell you.
Katie is an in-home caregiver to an elderly man. When he dies suddenly and leaves everything to her, it seems that all her financial problems are solved. That is until she finds cash, diamonds, and a dead body in her new home. Suddenly, the police consider both her and her husband suspects and they find their lives in danger.
Rating: D-
Is it worth watching? I wouldn’t recommend it! Even if you’re bored, you can find something better. It’s convoluted, farfetched, full of nonsense and plot holes. This is the second movie that Camila Mendes (Riverdale) has been that I have reviewed and they’ve both been bad. Her agent needs to find her better scripts.
The last thing I have to say is if diamonds were buried in the flower beds for four months and no one found them despite the police’s best effort, how did turning on the sprinklers suddenly unearth them? Was there no rain or wind during that four months? No stray cat to disturb the ground? Ridiculous.
