Series: Never Have I Ever
Where to watch it: Netflix

Seasons: One
Spoilers: Really Mild
Devi is a fiery, hot-tempered Indian American high school girl trying to cope after the traumatic death of her father followed by three months of psychosomatic paralysis. When the paralysis is cured by standing up to check out a hot guy in a grocery store parking lot, she is left to contend with what is left of her life. Which pretty much consists of being jealous of her beautiful “super Indian” cousin, propositioning the hot grocery store boy to have sex with her, being a questionably bad friend, asking her therapist if she’s bangable, and falling in love with her longtime nemesis.
Rating: Solid A
Is it worth watching: Yes, and Netflix will be stupid if they cancel it. This wonderfully, fun show was created by Mindy Kailing which you will immediately be able to identify if you are familiar with any of her previous works. I love that the characters are imperfect people struggling to find their way. Devi is like that one friend we all have that is over-the-top dramatic who just can’t get their crap together but you’ll love them until the day you die. All of the supporting characters are well developed with their own defining stories. It’s a fairly short season. I think I binged it in a day. 100% worth watching!
