Let me ask you a question? Have you ever wanted to be Batman? Just wake up knowing that at any point you can put on a kick ass suit to fight crime. Plus, you would have a sweet mother effing ride. Look, the best Batmobile is from the tv series, and you cannot change my mind. Or have you ever wanted to be Iron Man. Same principle as Batman except more technology, and the suit becomes your car. That would be fricking sweet. Or possibly, Spiderman slinging web and doing what ever a spider can. That would be the ultimate dream.
Did you know you could feel that feeling and even do something all these heroes do daily, save people’s lives. All you must do is one simple thing, wear a mask. Hell, I guess even if you wanted to be a supervillain, you could still feel that way by wearing a mask.
I am not sure when public health became a matter of politics in this country, but while the vaccine for COVID-19 is slowly being rolled out, it is important to wear a mask. We all want to go to a concert again, hell, at this point I would even consider going to see Nickelback. And that is a tough pill for me to swallow. For anything to return, while we wait, wear a mask.
We are not asking you to sell a kidney or give up your first born, we are asking you do something for 20 minutes while shopping for Spaghetti-O’s. Wearing a mask is not giving up your freedoms but making sure that we still have things to enjoy once this pandemic is over.
And if you are antivaxer, your mommy blogs and University of Facebook doctorate will not work around these parts. We listen to actual science and not someone who peaked in high school.
If you want to save lives while waiting for the vaccine and feel like a superhero, all you must do is a put a mask on. And that is where we share the “More you know” gif.
